Removing moles with laser is a simple ablative method to remove the mole. Ablative lasers are replacing surgery for small mole removals, as it provides less scarring especially in areas such as face, where sometimes surgical scar is not acceptable.

The laser is done under local anesthesia. The laser tip will burn the mole leaving a raw area. The area will heal in 1- 2 weeks with minimal scarring. Certain creams and scar gels will be prescribed to give a cosmetic appealing scar. The procedure takes less than 5-10mins.
